Been busy and not feeling up to blogging lately. But last minute decided to do this week’s Diva Challenge. The idea came from Jessie’s history lesson today. Saw the illustration of the Great Serpent Mound in Ohio and thought it would make a great fit for this week’s challenge.
Here’s a ZIA I’ve been working on since Sunday. I was inspired by a drawing of a Tlingit Indian crow mask (in one of Jessie’s history books). Not done yet. But happy with it so far. And happy to feel inspired!
Couldn’t get this posted yesterday for some reason. The picture just wouldn’t upload. So here it is today. Playing a but with the latest Diva challenge. Not super happy with it but continuing anyway. Quickie post of some tangles I’ve been working on. The cards have taken several weeks with all the holiday goings on. More later. Going to see if some yoga will help me feel better now.
Playing with my new pens. Still doing the Diva dance. These tangles have got to be the most “sociable” I’ve tried. Love the way Foxtrot dances nicely with Paradox or becomes Mooka. Here’s some close ups:
Woohoo! The Diva is celebrating her 100th weekly challenge and a very special guest post. Really had fun playing with Waltz, Foxtrot and Rock-n-Roll. Seems like you could just connect them to anything or continue their lines and poof! They’re something else. Thanks Laura, for making the world a doodlicious place!!
Have a bit of a cold goin’ on. That’s why there were no musings on Monday. Too busy sneezing. Makes it hard to think any thinks. Might try to do it late. As I had an idea to blog about how are homeschooling is going. Yeah, we’re still at it. Then again I just might [...]
Well, I did that card I threatened to do. Here it is before any shading. I may try to have it printed onto fabric via Spoonflower at some point. And have the repeats oriented so that they form a whole flower. Maybe a voile? Ended up not shading this at all but rather adding gold [...]
