Rocky Week

No C5k workouts this week. Did stretches and yoga but things were getting worse. My left leg felt like it was burning… even when lying down. It had been a month since coming off the Neurontin. And I was still needing up to 2400mg of ibuprofen a day to keep the pain manageable. So I [...]

Family Yoga and taking it slow.

Woke up Thursday morning pretty gimpy and sore. The sore is good, the gimpy not so much. The kids asked for yoga again so we did Gaiam’s Family Yoga DVD. The kids had fun doing back bends and being upside down. I had intended to do a third C5k session on Friday but decided against [...]

A Full Day

Today I tried to get out and get as much done as I could. If I’m going to have to live with this pain for a while, I might as well live and get out there. Took Sam to get his hair cut, stopped by Petco, took us out to lunch, took the kids skating. [...]

Garden Journal: Big discoveries

The sunflower seedling is very fuzzy on its plumule (eventually develops into the shoot). The clary sage true leaves are even fuzzier. The deer tounge lettuce is getting leggy (not enough sun light). Need to repot or direct sew when garden plot is ready. Green tomato seedlings are taller. The sweet pea seeds did not [...]
