Here’s my effort for the Diva’s Weekly Challenge to use your initials as a string. It is on its way to my sis who is seriously ill. And the Doc’s don’t yet know the cause. Hoping they find it soonest!
I think I’ve finally gotten a feel for this tangle! Thank you Laura Harms for this week’s challenge. Gave it a couple of shots below. The left is ink & graphite on watercolor paper; the right is ink and colored pencil on bristol. The one on the right is also going out as a birthday […]

Did this week’s challenge (curvy gridlock) as a little artsy pick-me-up from today’s face challenge effort. Its a bit of a mash up. Had no clue where to shade it. Almost didn’t. I think a second color of ink would have added a lot.
Diva Challenge #155 is “a little white space” so I thought I’d make it face shaped and get double usage as #17 in the faces challenge. Woohoo! It is Jessie’s profile by the way.
Happy Valentine’s Day! It has been so long since I’ve tangled! But it is my favorite way to make cards. This year I made them for all 3 of my sweethearts. And coincidently… the Diva’s challenge this week is: Valen-tangles. Woohoo! Two birds with one art project. : D (edited to make the images clickable […]
Been busy and not feeling up to blogging lately. But last minute decided to do this week’s Diva Challenge. The idea came from Jessie’s history lesson today. Saw the illustration of the Great Serpent Mound in Ohio and thought it would make a great fit for this week’s challenge.
