Write about fireworks. Describe them in vivid color and sound words. Make me see and hear them. Help me taste the air they explode in. Remember to describe the setting around them (do they reflect over water? are they on your front drive? are these the big kind over an amusement park?). — from BraveWriter Blog
i was at my friend’s parent’s friend’s house, which was in the suburbs, you could still hear the cars driving past us on the crowded freeway from where they were. when we were first parking on the side, we saw my friend throwing firecrackers that belched colored smoke depending on the firecracker that was lit, and if you lit all of the ones of the same pack, they tuned the smoke a nasty color of green. it was the best 4th of July yet, with all the fireworks that my friend’s family owned! they had sparklers that lit up the back of your corneas…..

How would you feel if a new child moved into your neighbourhood?
i’d feel happy to hopefully make a new friend. i’d go over and introduce myself and then ask him/her for his/her name, age, and what he/she likes.

What is something you are optimistic about?
i am optimistic about the new (Japanese, but soon to be American ) release of the new Pokemon Platinum(OMG), which has the god of death, Giratina (another OMG) as the title character(OMG)!
I’m hoping that the graphics, the placement of the legendaries, and the placement of other Pokemon from other games will be better by a billion fold. and that the wifi recepton will be better too

How do you feel when something scares you? What do you do when this happens?
usually, I feel a sudden lurch in my stomach, then, depending on the source, (wasps for example) I’d usually panic (a little), also depending on the direction of the source of fear, I’d try to get away from the source. I’m most afraid when the source is either close by, or coming at me.

What would you do if you found a magic wand?
I would hopefully find, like, one of those Harry Potter wands; not one of the black-and-white ones.
First, I’d grant myself with the power of telekinetic flight, then I’d grant me the powers of telekinesis, transformation of a Grey Wolf and a cougar, of disappearance and the ability to pass through solid objects.

What do you think someone your age can do to help reduce the amount of pollution in our environment?
lets see… i can turn off lights when there’s no use of them on, i can use more alternate means of transportation like riding buses and riding bikes and walking and stuff of the sort. ask the local owner of the closest park and chose a spot to clean up trash in the area, recycle as much as possible, compost food scraps and other perishable foodstuffs if possible.

What is your most indispensable possession and why?

he can be as sweet as an ice cream or as disrupting as heck itself; he’s a good dog to snuggle with, especially in a chair, or on my bed……… haaaaaaaahhhh…….. hm? oh, sorry…… he has learned to do some tricks like roll over, sit, twitch (only when we have a treat that he’s literally begging to get)

Today’s prompt from Brave Writer’s Blog…
I’d like to take a trip to an area where dragons are, and that only especially permitted peoples could enter; having in mind that it’s the area 51 of somewhere like a desolated place of Japan. The plane would be of the latest tech and would only be powered by solar energy, and each person would get their own iPhone, (the people in charge would pay for the cell billJ). When you arrive, you enter through the high-security perimeter of the area, then you’ll be able to roam free through the 200 acre area that is not restricted. Whoever goes in gets a dragon companion of their own choosing, so the person does not get lonely or lost and protection so other dragons do not harm you. When the time comes to leave, the dragon that accompanied you gets a genial shot that minimizes the size of the dragon by the time you reach the plane. You wouldn’t eat any of the pets that you had (it can feed itself, it only eats solar or lunar light) and they are very easy to raise. With the right care, the dragon will live as long as you do.

as prescribed by Brave Writer. Sam and I did it today. Nine minutes each.
Friday Freewrite: Gold rush
3/7/08
What would happen if you found gold in your backyard?
If I found gold in my yard, I’d get as much as I can grab and cash it, get some of it and save some for later, then go to the nearest target or another store with video game stuff and ether buy a Wii system or an Xbox360 and as many games that are compatible with until I run out of money and save some money for my parents. And give the rest to charity.

If I found gold in my yard. It may sound kinda weird, but I’d be worried about all the great moss on the ground. I mean I’d want to dig up some of the gold but I wouldn’t want to destroy all that great moss. Maybe I’d relocate most of it to a moss garden. I could use some of the money from the sale of the gold to build it.
I think I might save most of the money for my kids education. I worry about that. Some for retirement for Bob and I. Some I’d like to spend on me. I need new bras. There’s a place in town that apparently does fittings. I’ve wanted to be “fitted” for a long time but never knew where to do it. I even have a coupon to get bras at this place. (a friend gave it to me)
Sounds kinda boring, eh.
Bob and I could go traveling once the kids were grown of course. We could do that bike tour of England. Hmmm. Maybe we’d all take a trip to Japan. Sam really wants to go. That would be an awesome family vacation. Would make for some great photo albums.
‘Course there’s also fixing up the house and doing everything we want do to do it. Then it would really feel like ‘ours.’ We haven’t even painted the walls yet. Jessie has been helping take down the wall paper in her room though. J
Or the garden. We could do everything we want to have an awesome garden. Totally landscape the area… hmmm. Now I’m back to the worry about the moss. Totally re-landscaping would totally remove it. Weird, eh? To be so concerned about something so small. Maybe it is a mom thing. But it makes me smile.
There’s also the charities I’d like to give to. But only after the family is taken care of. Maybe that is selfish. But if we’re not secure, I don’t feel right helping someone else feel that way. If we were taken care of I’d like to give to the humane society.
