Wildflower Morning is sponsoring a themed blog-a-thon (I guess that’s the word for it) about wildflowers. This week’s subject is your favorite wildflower post. There are so many I took last year. Like this, and this, and this, and… I love them all! But here’s one that I can, at least, identify.
I believe it is Yellow Sweet Clover (Meliotis Officinalis), a member of the pea family.
Thanks Barb for spreading the word. ![]()

I’m so glad you joined us. I like your wildflower. But what is it called? I’m not sure I recognize it. : )

Beautiful. You have some great shots for sure. It is so fun seeing so many different wildflowers…
Hi Elizabeth! Thanks! I can’t believe I forgot to put down what it was. I was just so excited. LOL! The post has been amended but I believe it is Yellow Sweet Clover.
Thank you for the compliment Ellen!
beautiful! Perfect for this dreary time of year!
That is gorgeous!
Great photo! We have yellow sweet clover on the prairie, but it doesn’t have quite that large a flower. Very similar though.
