What have I done

You know those podcasts I found in the wee hours this morning. Well, I burned some of them to CD, the NOVA ones, so we could listen in the car on the way to the Library. Well, one of the podcasts was on Sir Isaac Newton and his interest in alchemy.
So what did Sam want to look up at the library… books on alchemy. 
The search took us on our first foray upstairs into the grown-up section. The book we found, “Alchemical Psychology.” I’m sorry, my jaw just shattered on the floor. Lemme go glue it back together. BRB.
All because of a four minute podcast… on Newton… It will be interesting to see how this “rabbit trail” pans out.
I really feel unprepared for this one.

Now I don’t have to go see what Newton was doing with his alchemical research, since Bob has this well in hand. I do expect to see him create a philosopher’s stone within a year, well maybe a philosophical stone, and send me the recipe.
They rebroadcast the one hour version on PBS last week. Sorry I didn’t save a copy.
