I love going and doing things BUT when it comes time for bed, I want to be home.
The trip to Tan-Tar-A was… ummm… fun… for the kids. 
The trip up was uneventful. The kids watched DVDs on the microcosmos and pyramids. And liked them! We stopped for munchies 10 miles outside of Osage Beach and then made our way the last little bit to the hotel. Had to prove (by ID) that I really was me before the front desk would give me a room key. LOL!
Took the kids to the (bloody expensive) indoor waterpark. To get the three of us in was over $50! I know, it is still cheaper than Disneyland. $50 is a weeks worth of groceries! Sam met a friend there who lives in St Louis. They’ve already spoken on the phone since we got home. We’ve been planning on a trip to the St Louis Zoo, so maybe we can meet her up there.
Slept terribly the night we were there. Jessie was wrestling something in her dreams. Of course in real life she was beating the tar outta me! Then at one point she jumped up and (I thought) said “I went peepee!” What she really said was “I heard a beepbeep!” It was Bob’s watch. I love my kids. I love to snuggle with them but when it comes time for serious sleep, I love them to sleep in their own beds. As much as I love the idea, I could never do the family bed thing.
It was good to see Bob and I am glad the kids had fun but I am SO Happy to be home!
The weather has been fun lately too. Some spring storms have come through… short but intense. Today it is incredible gusty but the skies are clear and the sun is bright.
Everything is greening up. As soon as it dries up, Bob’s gonna have a lot to mow. LOL! We’re working on cleaning up the yard. Raking up the mulch (leaves) and shredding them for the compost pile. Chipping up the piles of branches that have been sitting around since last summer.
